Positions Vacant

1. Locum Optometrists - Ongoing Alternate Sundays - Parramatta, Macquarie, Top Ryde and Penrith. 


Practices are in major shopping centres with the latest fashion brands of eyewear. Practices are fully scoped and equipped with modern technological equipments including Non-Contact Tanometer, Auto Refractor, Visual Field and Retinal Camera.

2. General Accountant - Head Office. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions and the managerial planning
  • Perform cost management, pricing and forecasting of the financial data
  • Perform financial planning and budgeting for stores
  • Cost saving and improving profitability
  • Making sure spending is in line with budgets
  • Analysing the company's financial performance and making longer term
  • forecasts
  • Recommending ways of cutting costs
  • Providing information and analysis from Audits
  • Inspect carefully and precisely cost performance and support the
  • implementation of benchmarking and quality improvement
  • Assist to formulate budgetary and accounting policies
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Review financial reports and make sure those compliance with statutory
  • requirements
  • Examine operating costs and analyse the income and expenditure
  • Examine financial and taxation matters on business structures, plans and
  • operations and report to the general manager and director
  • Manage Payroll, Accounts Payable, Company tax and all other accounting
  • duties
  • Manage preparing taxation returns for employees and the company
  • Maintain and keep update accounting systems
  • Manage internal control systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce/accounting or higher

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience as an accountant and exposure to most of the duties advertised would be desirable.
  • Experience in retail-based company/operations and in particular Optometry will be preferred.

3. Optical Dispensers/Sales Assistants - Burwood and Macquarie. 

We are seeking Optical Dispensers to join our dynamic teams at our Burwood and Macquarie locations.  

The successful candidates will have a proven optical dispensing retail sales background with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. Optical dispensing qualification is highly desired but not essential. You will need to have excellent communication skills with a passion to deliver outstanding service and build customer relationships.
